First we would like to share a bit about ourselves. We probably know each other as well as we know ourselves after these last three years of living together. For an interesting twist we shall write about each other. Ready. Set. Go!
Carly Rose King.
A girl whose love for life is infectious to everyone who comes into contact with her. Whether it is her love for teaching and seeing the potential and good in every kid in her 1st grade classroom, her love for traveling and meeting people from all different backgrounds, or love for her family and friends - her bright smile and loving arms bring joy to all. You can find her in the kitchen coming up with new recipes (vegetarian at that), crafting at the table, working outside on her land in East Texas, reading blogs and books, or spending special moments with family and friends drinking tea and coffee .
She sees the beautiful where no one else can. For example by finding a hidden treasure in an antique shop seeing its potential to be something else. This speaks true to her optimism and outlook on life. Her roots are in the simple things in life and her mantra of "Beloved, Love" would be the best way to describe how she lives her life. Finding the lovely things in the ordinary.
I look forward to what her heart will bring to this world and excited for this barista to steep some love in Houston to all the kiddos and people she will meet. So happy she will be coming back to this bistro though as we find this little blog as our home away from home even though we won't be living together any more. You will be doing great things, Miss King!!

This lady is truly a gift. It's incredibly rare to find a person who combines maturity, wisdom and agelessness with the quirkiness and love of children and dignity and regality of a Queen. If I had to create a recipe to explain this darling it would look like this.

Elizabeth has a heart of gold and spreads love with her gentle and sweet smile and sprit wherever she goes. Her perspective and thoughtfulness on life make her great and giving advice and being that listening ear. She adores quiet nights at home nestled on a couch next to blooming lillies with a good book in hand and a calming cup of tea, but don't be surprised to find her out dancing the next night to Beyonce and Icon Pop. Which speaking of Icon Pop, "I Love It" could be the slogan for Elizabeth's life. Persevering in love is Elizabeth's gift. She also has a special love for quotes, and I wouldn't be surprised at all if one day people will be googling her name to find quotes worth crafting.
She has a way of making you feel like the only one in the world and totally and completely loved. I wouldn't be who I am today without her and I am beyond grateful to begin sharing this new bistro set with my lovely friend. I am so excited for all the new people up in Dallas that will catch a glimpse of the Love she radiates and for all the wisdom, joy and humor she can share as your online barista. Together or apart we will be sharing life, tea and all the beautiful little things.
